Kinda going back to question 1, under a different section of using scrolls, one of the first bullet points is as follows: Assuming they have the necessary ability score to cast it anyways, they're just not high enough in level yet, do they need to make a UMD? Do those only cover spells known or is it the entirety of their spell list including spell levels they don't have access to yet? So 1st level sorcerer finds a scroll of fireball. If I have an arcane spellcaster, say, a bard, that purchases a scroll of Cure Light Wounds, but it was created by a divine caster, does that alter how it functions? Since Cure Light Wounds does appear on a bards spell list, but the scroll was created by a divine caster, does that matter any? Or does it treat the scroll as the divine iteration of Cure Light Wounds which then requires a UMD check?Ībout spell lists. I'm a bit unclear on some of the wording. /r/3d6 - For character creation, advice and sharing (system agnostic)./r/Battlemaps - For your VTT battlemap requirements./r/Tabletop - For your general tabletop gaming shenanigans./r/lfg - Looking For Group, find other players, etc./r/RPG - For general, non-Pathfinder related RPG discussion./r/Starfinder_rpg - For dedicated discussion of Paizo's Science Fantasy system and setting. ![]()
